Petermic, also known as Mr. Mimick, is a renowned Cameroonian content creator and entertainer. He was born on January 2, 1994, in Njinikom, North West Region, to Afoakom, a legendary Cameroonian folklore artist now known as Prince Yerima. Petermic initially pursued a career in football, playing in Cameroon before moving to China in 2015. He began creating online content, developing his skill in mimicry, and eventually gained popularity for his celebrity impersonations. By 2021, his videos impersonating Nigerian stars such as Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, and Davido had attracted widespread attention. Petermic has collaborated with prominent entertainers and digital personalities in Nigeria and Cameroon, including Sabinus, Mr Macaroni, and Magasco. He has also released music, with two songs, "My People" and "Paw Paw", released in September 2025. In addition to his creative pursuits, Petermic has ventured into entrepreneurship with Mr Mimick's Corner, a barbershop in Yaounde. He has been nominated for Best Web Content Creator of the Year at the Cameroon Music Entertainment Awards. As of September 2026, Petermic has a combined social media following of over 6 million across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, with his TikTok account alone having over 3 million followers. He has recently partnered with YellowBet Cameroon as a commercial influencer, producing branded content and promoting the brand on his social media platforms.
