General Bank of Cameroon (GBC) is a Cameroonian commercial bank, majority-owned by the State since May 2026. It was called Société Générale Cameroun while it was the French Société Générale group's subsidiary. Registered with the Central African Banking Commission (COBAC), it operates in Cameroon's banking sector.
